“Authenticity itself is transient. My authentic today is different from my authenticity tomorrow.”
So then, what is authenticity, really?
Authenticity is not a fixed identity.
It is not a static version of who you are, etched in stone forever.
Rather, authenticity is the alignment between your inner truth and your outer expression in this moment.
Today, your truth may be shaped by your current experiences, beliefs, wounds, hopes, and understanding of the world.
Tomorrow, as you evolve, so will your truth and with it, your authenticity.
So, what is authenticity?
Authenticity is the courage to be honest with your current self, even when it contradicts your former self.
It is less about declaring “this is who I am forever” and more about asking:
“Am I living in integrity with who I truly am, in this moment?”
That makes authenticity both liberating and humbling because it gives you permission to grow without guilt.
